Why work at Active Gloucestershire?
We are a welcoming, inclusive, and values-led organisation dedicated to improving lives through physical activity. At its heart, Active Gloucestershire is a charity focused on supporting the least active communities in the county by fostering collaboration and driving positive change through a whole systems approach.
Our Vision, Mission, and Values
- Vision: Everyone in Gloucestershire living healthy and happy lives.
- Mission: We’re part of an inclusive community that connects and inspires people in Gloucestershire to improve their lives through physical activity.
- Values:
- Be brave: Try new approaches and embrace innovation.
- Be curious and listen hard: Learn from diverse perspectives and lived experiences.
- Stand shoulder to shoulder: Support one another and grow ideas collaboratively.
- Find the energy: Focus on strengths and challenge negativity constructively.
- Build relationships of trust: Value connection as much as achievement.
These principles underpin a culture that is supportive, inclusive and people-focused, where staff are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work and are empowered to thrive.
Our staff wellbeing is a top priority which is why we have a variety of benefits to ensure our staff have a good work/life balance, opportunities to develop and time to put their health and wellbeing first.
