National Governing Bodies (NGBs) CORE Specification

Sport England has funded 49 County Sports Partnerships (CSP) to support National Governing Bodies (NGB's) and to achieve their Whole Sport Plan targets.

Sport England developed a Core Specification which sets out a list of services that each CSP offers NGB's. This process has ensured that NGB's can access a common set of services from CSP's, these range from providing local contacts details to providing Training and Education programmes.

Active Gloucestershire Engaging with NGB's

Active Gloucestershire Relationship Managers

Each NGB will be allocated a Relationship Manager (RM). The RM will be responsible for coordinating initial meetings with NGBs, maintaining contact, gathering information on NGB priorities and supporting the implementation of their Delivery Plan.

Working with NGB's

Engaging with NGB's

Each NGB meet with Sport England at a national level to ensure they are read to engage with NGB's. Sport England produce an Engagement form to inform CSP which NGB's are ready to engage.
