Our programmes are designed for international teenagers who want to spend their holidays in the UK and learn English.
Activity Leaders for Oxford International are paramount to the success of these programmes. They plan and run engaging, inclusive and safe onsite activities and lead the cultural excursions.
The onsite activities vary from sports coaching, creative workshops such as arts and crafts, photography and drama, competitive sessions like the egg-drop challenge, discos, talent shows and other whole campus events and relaxing board game and films nights. Activity Leaders have the opportunity to be creative, if you have a special talent and want to teach our students something, creativity if actively encouraged!
Excursions are a chance for our students to see exciting cities and places of interest. The Activity Leaders will give tours of these places and provide the students with exciting cultural and historical information. Ample support and materials are provided for the excursions.
Activity Leaders live and work in the centres, undertaking some welfare duties such as meal and accommodation supervision, airport meet and greets and any administrative assistance the senior staff require.
We look for no qualifications, but just passion, charisma and a little bit of experience of working with young people.
You need to be:
Eligible to work in the UK
18 or over
You should have:
Strong communication skills
Native or near native level of English
Great organisational skills with a proactive planning approach
Flexibility, adaptability and ability to cope with changing priorities
A drive to work with fun, like-minded people to work collaboratively and contribute to team success
The ability to motivate a group of young people
Be a confident, outgoing and sociable character
Have a positive, “can-do” approach to work
Demonstrate high levels of professional conduct
Demonstrate respect for equal opportunities and respect for race and diversity

It would be great if you:
Have experience of working in a residential setting
Have experience of working with 12-16 year olds
Hold a valid first aid qualification and / or lifeguard certificate

Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s women only event series. It brings people together. It raises awareness. And crucially it raises vital funds for our life saving research and will help us reach our aim of seeing 3 in 4 people survive cancer by 2034.
That’s where you come in. As a Promotional Assistant you will be the face of Race for Life. We want towns and cities across the UK to buzz with excitement about these amazing events and you’ll play an important role in making that happen. With your energy and enthusiasm you’ll love talking to members of the public and showing your passion for Race for Life and Cancer Research UK.
Working with the Area Marketing Managers you’ll help plan and deliver high quality promotional activity and face-to-face engagement with the public to drive acquisition. You’ll also work closely with our volunteers, briefing them on activity and working collaboratively with them to upscale our promotional events.
Your proactive attitude will enable you to work unsupervised as part of this regional team and make a real impact in this role. This position will also give you the opportunity to gain or develop skills, knowledge, and experience delivering acquisition-led promotional events and experiential marketing events.
