    The Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy (AFCA) is a fun filled week of cricket coaching, games and activities for children between 5 and 16. Each Academy features a Star Visit from either Andrew Flintoff himself or another Professional Player who will pass on coaching tips that helped them reach the top.

    We are looking for qualified cricket coaches to work on our summer academies at the following venues:

    Colstons School, Stapleton, Bristol, BS16 1BJ from 24th – 28th July

    Wycliffe College, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 2JQ from 14th – 18th August

    A typical day in the life of….

    • Plan a variety of coaching sessions prior to the academy beginning with support from our curriculum or by using your own expertise!
• Deliver high quality coaching sessions based on age and ability, throughout each day • Ensure every child is enjoying themselves at all times & generate a great academy atmosphere through fun, enjoyment & respect, maintaining high levels of safety throughout • Work together in your team to get all equipment set up for a great day of coaching to begin • Always welcome each parent and child in a professional and friendly manner

    Other Activities

    • Deliver extra curricular sessions. These may include: wet weather activities & worksheet completion tasks• Actively engage children in our Extra Time Club

    Hours

    • Our Academies run from 9:30am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5pm (depending on location) with the offer of our Extra Time Club to parents, which adds an additional hour, each side of the day • You may be required to work in excess of 40 hours a week therefore you will be asked to ‘opt out’ of the 48 hour Working Time Directive

    General

    • Respond to incidents and/or emergences in line with company policy • Adhere to Activate Camp’s brand standards
 • Dress and act according to Activate Camp’s policy at all times • Carry out any other reasonable tasks required

    Wages And Benefits

    • You can earn between £240 – £500 per week (pro rata) depending on your age, qualifications and experience

    We can also offer:

    • Flexible job opportunities to suit your availability
• The opportunity to gain meaningful coaching experience • IIRSM approved training and CPD opportunities

    We are looking for coaches that:

    • Are out-going and enjoy working with children between the ages of 5 – 16 • Have great communication skills
 • Have a positive & hard working attitude towards their work
    
• Are team players that are always willing to help out whenever needed • Hold a valid DBS certificate – Activate can split the cost if you need one processing • Have a right to work in the UK

    Our coaches will also have the following qualifications and skills:

    • An ECB Certifcate in Coaching Children’s Cricket or Coach Support Worker qualification • The capability to differentiate coaching sessions and drills• Demonstrate excellent behaviour & group management skills

    Netball Fever is a unique nationwide netball coaching course for girls aged 7 to 16 years of age. The course has been custom designed to deliver a netball experience that will cover all aspects of netball, that is ideal for any level of player, whether they are just starting out or a potential England player.

    Every Netball Fever has at least one day visited by one of our Star Visits. These star coaches offer a fantastic experience in both coaching and playing.

    The Louis Smith Gymnastics Academy is a unique nationwide gymnastics coaching course for both girls and boys aged 5 to 14 years of age. Our course has been custom designed to deliver all appropriate gymnastics disciplines.

    Every LSGA has a unique Star Visit from Louis Smith or another elite Gymnast. These star coaches offer an unrivalled experience in both coaching and competing.

    Are you enthusiastic about fitness? Do you enjoy working with young children? Do you hold a valid enhanced DBS certificate? Do you have a safeguarding children certificate?

    Jolly Hockey Tots compliments the EYFS* programme and National Curriculum to provide fun fitness sessions using hockey as its medium. We are looking for people to join our expanding team of hockey coaches, working with children aged between 2 ½ to 7 years of age. Some experience of hockey is preferable but is not essential as training will be provided; however, experience of interacting or working with children is essential. We are interested in your enthusiasm and self-motivation along with strong initiative skills to lead fun packed fitness sessions, based on developing the whole child as well as basic hockey skills, as part of a fun & engaging team.

    Our rates of pay start at £7.50 per session (each session usually lasts an hour), term time only.
