Play Gloucestershire

Teams of Play Rangers work in urban parks and rural green spaces, providing free, open access play, sports and arts and crafts toschool-aged children across the six county districts of Cheltenham, Cotswolds, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud and Tewkesbury.

Play Rangers are qualified playworkers who take their skills and equipment to where the children are. Their policy is open access, so it is free to use and there is no registration. Children can come and go as they please. Activities are targeted at 8 to 14 year olds. Under 8's are welcome accompanied by a parent or carer. Activities include active play, den building, fires, arts and crafts, sports and games.

Go-By-Cycle is a cycle hire and cycle sales centre providing cycling opportunities in the Cotswolds for individuals, or the whole family, as well asschool groups, youth groups/clubs and Corporate entertainment.

All of their cycles are Trek cycles and are all 2009/2010 models. They offer FREE customer parking whilst hiring.

For hire are:

Youth Trek Cycles - various sizes
Children's Bikes
Child tag-along bike (Trek Mountain Train)
Tricycle and tandem bikes.
Cycle trailer and Child Bike Seats

Go-By-Cycle will provide cycle helmets free of charge when hiring bikes and offer free advice/guidance and Cotswold Lakes cycle route information. They also offer camping facilities onsite.
