eNewsletter March 2010
eNewsletter March 2010

Welcome to the March newsletter. As the evenings have got steadily lighter there has been a quickening of activity across the county and this edition features lots of new opportunities.

Another area where the days are flying by is 2012. As it gets ever closer we carry details of how to register for those sought after Olympic and Paralympic tickets. One of the most visual icons of the Olympic movement is the Olympic Flame and Torch which will travel the length and breadth of the county in the months immediately before the Games. Along with every other area of the UK, Gloucestershire has submitted ideas for bringing the flame to the County and we now have to wait for 'London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games' to sift these ideas and publish the proposed route in autumn this year. If Gloucestershire is chosen there will be tremendous opportunities for local communities to witness, connect and feel the power of the Games. Watch this space.........
