Fundraising ideas to pay for sessions

Parent funded

Parents pay for the session; this can be added onto bills in early years or paid to the school or direct to Active Gloucestershire. All income is retained by Active Gloucestershire.

Schools pay Active Gloucestershire the hourly rate for the sessions. The school charge parents a weekly amount and they retain any profit made.

Parents pay a sessional rate to Active Gloucestershire. An agreed percentage is donated to either:

• The school
• The OOSC
• The PTFA
• A charity of choice
• A partner school (some schools have links with schools in developing countries)

A fundraising event is held to generate funds that could pay in full or part fund sessions
