NETBALL - September 07
It is the start of a new season for both juniors and seniors – here is a brief update on what is coming up.
SATELLITE ACADEMIES
These will be starting at the end of September for U13’s selected from the trials held in June. Academies will be in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Forest and Cotswold. Training dates and venues will be confirmed as soon as possible.
COUNTY/DEVELOPMENT ACADEMIES – again will be starting at the end of September for U14’s. Academies will be in Gloucester and Cheltenham.
SENIOR LEAGUES – start with the divisional tournaments on the weekend of 8/9 September with league fixtures starting the following weekend.
JUNIOR LEAGUES – will start with a tournament on 30th September. Leagues will commence on 14th October and matches played once a month. Initial responses have been very good and it looks like we will have the highest number of teams entered in the leagues ever, with possibly 9 or 10 teams in each of the U12, U14 and U16 age groups.
